Government to repatriate Nigerians from Libya

    ABIDJAN

    The Nigerian government has announced that it is to repatriate thousands of Nigerians who reside illegally in Libya, following reports of violence between Libyans and immigrants from sub-Saharan Africa, BBC reported.

    The government said illegal Nigerian immigrants were endangering their own lives and those of others in their host countries.

    Dozens of people from Sub-Saharan Africa have been killed in clashes with locals in Libya ‘The Guardian’ newspaper in Lagos reported on Monday that Nigeria and Libya had concluded arrangements for the repatriations.
