Four journalists missing

    ABIDJAN
    Reporters sans Frontieres (RSF) has asked the Liberian government to search for four national journalists who have gone missing in central and southeastern Liberia, plagued by fighting between rebels and government troops in recent weeks. In a statement on Wednesday, RSF said Grody Dorbor of The Inquirer newspaper, and Oscar Dolo, Nyahn Flomo and William Quiwea of the Talking Drum Studio, had not reported to their respective media houses since being sent on assignments to the centre and south of the country two weeks ago. The Paris-based media watchdog called on the government to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into their disappearance and, in general, to ensure the safety of journalists.
