Regional health plan to be drawn up

    ABIDJAN
    Health ministers from member countries of the West African Health Organisation are expected to meet next week in Burkina Faso to draw up a five-year regional strategic health plan, PANA reported official sources in the capital Ouagadougou as saying on Sunday. In preparation for the 8-9 November ministerial meeting, due to take place at the organisation's headquarters in Bobo Dioulasso some 350 km west of the capital, health directors from member countries held a meeting in mid--October to discuss strategy planning for the 2002-2006 period and other key issues, PANA reported. The West African Health Organisation is made up of 15 countries in the region.
