The South African and Namibian governments were set to conclude a deal on the construction of a cross-border gas pipeline, 'Channel Africa' reported on Thursday.
The report said the deal would be similar to one South Africa signed with Mozambique recently. An official of the South African Ministry of Mineral and Energy Affairs said gas from the project was expected to flow between South Africa and Namibia by the year 2007.
