Malnutrition cases reported in Manono

    NAIROBI

    Meanwhile, the NGO Nueva Frontiera, which recently opened a health centre in Manono in Katanga province, has continued to report the presence of numerous malnutrition cases in the area, WFP said. WFP delivered food required to start the Therapeutic Feeding Centre (TFC) and Supplementary Feeding Centre (SFC) programmes. However, with the growing needs, larger food quantities must be airlifted as soon as possible. WFP and Nueva Frontiera agreed to share the transport costs for food and non-food items required for the feeding programme.
