The Nigeria-South Africa bi-national commission, set up to foster closer economic and strategic ties between the two, is expected to hold its third session in Abuja next week, news reports said on Wednesday. Special Adviser to Nigeria's Vice-President on Economic Affairs, Hamilton Isu, was quoted as saying that South Africa's Vice President, Jacob Zuma, would lead a group of government officials and representatives of diverse sectors to the session, scheduled for 13-15 March. He added that the meeting would discuss the political instability in many African countries and seek to widen their areas of cooperation to include trade and industry, agriculture, solid minerals/energy, science and technology, education, as well as culture and tourism.
