Emergency education for newly displaced

    ABIDJAN

    An agreement has been finalised between UNICEF, its partners and the Christian Children’s Fund (CCF) for the expansion of non-formal primary education (NFPE) into Lungi and Port Loko, both north of Freetown, OCHA said. UNICEF plans to provide US $31,000 for 26 existing NFPE centres with 1,983 learners and 1,400 children in 40 new centres in the Mile 91 area.
