Liberian President Charles Taylor arrived in Bamako on Monday for a day of talks with his Malian counterpart, Alpha Oumar Konare, AFP reported. Taylor said that he was making the trip to "benefit from the experience" of Konare, who takes over the chairmanship of ECOWAS in November. Taylor flew in from Burkina Faso where he held talks with President Blaise Compaore, a key ally.
