New AIDS drug tested

    JOHANNESBURG

    A anti-HIV drug is to be tested on HIV positive women in Malawi, news reports said on Wednesday. Tests conducted in the United States show that the drug, navaripine, reduces the risk of an HIV positive mother infecting her child at birth or whilst breast feeding.
