Possible December date for the election
An independent multiparty elections panel has proposed December 3 or 4 for national elections, news reports said on Monday.
Elections were originally scheduled to take place in October, but the date was pushed back, after delays in the registration process. A two-month registration period began on 20 July and according to the spokeswoman about 8.4 percent of the eligible voters registered during the first week.
