Malnutrition rates improve in Malange

    JOHANNESBURG

    Meanwhile, OCHA added that UNICEF has confirmed that malnutrition rates were improving in accesible areas of the northern province of Malanje. “The Agency reported that global acute malnutrition rates in accessible areas among children under five years of age decreased to 3.1 percent in August from 9.5 percent in January and 31.8 percent in June 1999,” OCHA noted.
