Suspected child labourers repatriated

Nearly 100 suspected victims of child trafficking who survived a shipwreck off the coast of Cameroon at the end of August were repatriated on Saturday to Benin, Mali and Togo, AFP reported a Cameroonian official as saying. Some 72 Togolese, 25 Beninese and 2 Malians left the Cameroonian econonomic capital, Douala, on board a military plane. Around 30 Nigerians, who were also on board the boat believed to be bound for Gabon, left Cameroon on 13 September. Several bodies were also recovered after the boat sank, news organisations reported.
