ANC MP openly criticises Zimbabwe

    JOHANNESBURG
    African National Congress member of parliament, Jeremy Cronin, has openly criticised the situation in Zimbabwe, the SABC's channel Africa said on Wednesday. Speaking in parliament, he said the ANC was "appalled" by the "abrogation" of the rule of law in that country. Cronin said the South African government was deeply worried by the bombing of newspaper offices in Harare and by the intimidation of trade unionists in Zimbabwe.
