Church official reported killed in UNITA raid in central Angola

    JOHANNESBURG

    Jonas Savimbi’s UNIA rebel movement have reportedly killed a Catholic Church catechist and burnt 62 houses in Cunhinga district, about 30 km from the city of Bie, in central Angola, over the weekend, Angop said on Thursday. According to the report the incidents took place in Cachinhiebi and Nambulucuto villages, west of the district headquarters.
