Rwanda rejects Kabila’s call for talks

    ABIDJAN

    The Rwandan government on Thursday rejected a proposal by President Kabila for new talks between the leaders of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and his country. The BBC quoted Rwandan Foreign Minister Andre Bumaya as telling journalists in Kigali that the Lusaka accord was the “only framework” through which peace could be restored in the Congo and the whole region.
