20 killed in train crash

    ABIDJAN

    At least 20 people are believed to have died and 38 others were injured after a commuter train they were travelling in derailed and plunged into a valley at the Lela station in western Kenya on Tuesday evening, the Kenyan media reported. The train was believed to have been carrying some 300 passengers at the time of the accident. It was travelling from Butere to Kisumu in western Kenya.
