SADC may invite Blair for talks on land crisis

    ABIDJAN

    British prime minister, Tony Blair, might be invited for talks on Zimbabwe’s land crisis, Malawi’s President Bakili Muluzi said in a statement on Sunday. Muluzi said he and South African President Thabo Mbeki would either fly to London or invite Blair to Africa for talks.

    Muluzi and Mbeki were mandated at the Southern African Development Community (SADC) summit in Windhoek to take up the Zimbabwe land issue with the British premier.
