Xenophobia victim dies in Germany

A 39-year-old Mozambican man who was the victim of a racist attack at the weekend died in a Dessau, Germany hospital on Wednesday, media reports said. The German police said the man was attacked in a park in the eastern German town of Dessau on Sunday evening by three men who brutally beat him. The assailants, aged 16, 17 and 25, said they had attacked the man because he was a foreigner, police said, adding that the three were allegedly drunk at the time of the incident.
