Government outlines four-year economic plan

The government unveiled on Wednesday an economic policy from 1999 to 2003 designed to place Nigeria at the centre of economic activities in the West African subregion. The new policy would within four years of implementation ensure an economy which would be technology-driven, broad-based, open and internationally significant, Radio Nigeria quoted Information Minister Dapo Sarumi as saying in Abuja.
