Ghana’s small and medium-scale enterprises are being hindered from contributing to the country’s economic development by fierce competition in its liberalised economy and inefficient production methods, The ‘Ghanaian Chronicle’ reports the deputy minister of trade and industry, Peter Peprah, as saying. Half of Ghana’s enterprises are medium-sized or small, Peprah said.
