Liberians in US donate $100.000 in medicines

A Liberian organization in the United States has donated medical supplies worth US $100,000 to residents of Nimba County, independent Star radio reported on Monday. The items were donated by the Nimba Educational and Medical Fund to improve health services in the county, it said, citing the chairman of the organisation's Humanitarian Committee, Cyril Lurlay. He said the organisation planned to make another shipment in November.
