Germany grants Zambia debt relief

Germany has cancelled and rescheduled an estimated US $323 million of Zambian debt to Germany, news reports said On Wednesday. Germany has written off 48 percent of Zambia's debt and rescheduled the rest to paid off between April 2007 and October 2023. The payment was originally scheduled for payment between 31 March 1999 and 31 March 2002.
