Exporters in Zimbabwe are concerned about a move this week by the Reserve bank this week which cut the amount of money going into corporate foreign currency accounts, the South African daily, 'Business Day' reported on Wednesday.
It said that under a new rule, one-third of all export proceeds in the accounts has to be paid to the Reserve bank as a statutory reserve provision for foreign currency. No interest will be paid on the money.
