HIV/AIDS statistics

    JOHANNESBURG
    Statistics published in the daily, ‘Noticias de Angola’, show that an estimated 5,366 HIV/AIDS cases were diagnosed by the end of August. It said out of a total 35,582 existing cases, about 157,900 people were living with the disease. Reports said that about 30,899 people had died, with an estimated 19,000 AIDS orphans.
