Last week IRIN released the latest of its short documentary films - Forced to Flee.
A two part story shot in The Philippines and The Democratic Republic of Congo, Forced to Flee tells the stories of just a few of the tens of millions of people around the world who have been forced to flee their homes and become displaced.
Some of these people have been driven out by war, others by economic or political forces. Most have been displaced by natural disaster.
As with all IRIN Films, the aim of this film is to increase awareness and understanding of humanitarian crises and to assist fellow humanitarian actors in their advocacy efforts. As a humanitarian news agency IRIN specializes in the creation of advocacy tools but remains dependant on its partners for the dissemination of these messages.
While we will endeavour to meet demand, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide copies to all who request them.
