From our feedback files last month, India

From our feedback files last month, most of you wanted to know why we do not cover India. IRIN's mandate is not only to report on humanitarian issues but to focus on neglected situations and crises. India, while facing many developmental challenges, has not become part of our core coverage, although IRIN does report on India through its PlusNews service. PlusNews is IRIN's e-mail and internet-based HIV/AIDS information service. To check out our PlusNew reporting on India, go to: India
