Support to RUF alleged

    ABIDJAN

    Opposition parties in Burkina Faso have called for an international investigation, under UN auspices, into claims that the government has been supporting RUF rebels in Sierra Leone, news agencies said today. Sierra Leonean Finance Minister James Jonah told the BBC that Burkina Faso was training “thousands” of Sierran Leonean rebels.
