During the meeting, held last week, Isayas and Sattler and expressed readiness for cooperation "in the areas of security, information sharing, commitment to defeating terrorism and establishing conditions necessary for long-term stability throughout the Horn of Africa region", said the statement. Defence Minister Sebhat Ephrem subsequently hosted Sattler and members of the CJTF-HOA staff on a tour of the Massawa naval base and the Dahlak Islands.
