Agreement to settle border differences

    JOHANNESBURG

    The Angolan and Zambian government have agreed to settle their border disputes that led to minor troop clashes earlier this year, the Angolan defence minister was quoted in news reports as saying.

    Kundi Paihama said that he met with Zambian officials at the Southern African Development Community (SADC) summit in Maputo at the weekend. “We had a meeting at which we discussed military issues between our two countries. It’s all settled,” Paihama was quoted as saying.
