19 political groupings vye for municipal elections

    ABIDJAN
    Nineteen political groups - nine parties and 10 coalitions - have presented 551 lists of candidates for municipal elections to be held on 19 October in Mauritania, the Mauritanian News Agency (AMI) reported. The deadline for presentation of the lists was 30 August.
