Ethiopian and Eritrean journalists who attended the opening ceremony of the Mereb river bridge, along the disputed border, on Tuesday held unofficial discussions, the Eritrean newspaper ‘Mekalih’ has reported. The journalists talked among themselves about how to use information to help the reconciliation process between the two countries, said ‘Mekalih’ on Wednesday. The journalists also committed to use their profession to create an atmosphere conducive to bringing the peoples of the two countries to a common understanding and cooperation.
