NGOs team up against HIV/AIDS

    ABIDJAN
    Some 20 NGOs in Guinea have teamed up to take preventive action against the spread of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases, the Panafrican News Agency (PANA) reported on Wednesday. The group, which operates under the acronym ROSEGUI, was launched on Tuesday. It aims “to bring more dynamism, more synergy and more efficiency to the fight against AIDS and STDs in Guinea,” its chairperson, Fatou Barry, was quoted as saying. ROSEGUI also plans to raise funds to support HIV/AIDS patients and orphans.
