Concern over missing journalists

The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), based in New York, has written to the Eritrean authorities to express concern for the welfare of 15 journalists “alleged either to be in prison or to have been forcibly conscripted”, a statement released by the group on 7 June said. In a letter to the Eritrean justice minister, Fawziyya Hashim, CPJ requested her to verify the fate of these journalists.
