Fresh attacks in south

    NAIROBI

    Fresh attacks were reported on Thursday in the Gasaka area of the southern province of Makamba, the private Netpress news agency reported. It said the assailants ambushed three vehicles in this area. In the first case, a military truck was burnt to a shell, but the soldiers it was carrying “miraculously escaped”. Another attack against two transport minibuses was, however, “deadly since they were burnt to ashes and the passengers burnt alive inside the vehicles”, Net Press added.
