The Libyan government has given about US $1-million to Guinea-Bissau as part of its financial aid package for the poorest African countries. Abubacar Khalifa Shellig, the Libyan charge d’affaires in Bissau, presented the cheque to President Kumba Yala on Wednesday, AFP reported an official source as saying.
