Spanish judge seeks information on ship

Spanish High Court Judge Baltasar Garzon has asked Interpol to inform him as soon as possible on the situation regarding the ‘Etireno’, a ship which was reported to be transporting child slaves but had just a few children accompanied by relatives when it docked on Tuesday in Cotonou. Spanish national radio reported that Garzon made the request in reaction to a complaint that a Spanish human rights association has filed against the boat’s owners for crimes against humanity.
