Police seal off campus on third day of unrest

    JOHANNESBURG
    Police sealed off the University of Zimbabwe’s main campus on Monday after using tear gas to disperse students protesting economic hardships, news reports said. Reports said angry students wielding stones and tree branches tried to march on Monday, but police fired tear gas to disperse them and then sealed off the campus in the capital, Harare. There were no immediate reports of injuries or arrests. The disturbances began on Saturday.
