Guinea has obtained a US $2.56-million grant from the ADF for a study on an oil palm and rubber tree development plan. The African Development Bank, under which the Fund is operated, reported on 29 March that the study aims to provide the government with a planning tool, strategic orientations and operation framework, and foster rational management of the two subsectors. The plan also includes support for the development of family oil palm plantations in maritime Guinea.
