Seven workers died of burns they suffered when a turbine exploded at a soap and plastics factory in The Gambia, news organisations reported on Tuesday. They were among 13 people admitted to a hospital in Banjul after they were showeered with hot soda in Thursday's blast. The Gambia's National Environmental Agency has opened an investigation into the accident, a source told IRIN on Tuesday.
