The South African National Defence (SANDF) has donated excess military clothing and medical equipment worth more than US $700,000 to Angola, the SANDAF said in Pretoria this week. The donation was described as a "token of friendship and care". The donation was accepted by General Salvia no de Jesus Secure, chief of general support in the Angolan defence force. The consignment included about 13,000 pairs of boots, with beds and trolleys forming part of the medical equipment.
