Chissano/Dhlakama hold crisis talks

    JOHANNESBURG

    President Joaquim Chissano and opposition leader Afonso Dhlakama met for six hours on Wednesday to discuss political differences and the disputed 1999 general elections, AP reported on Thursday. According to the report the two leaders agreed to meet again after working groups they appointed discussed the issues and examined ways to resolve the problems. The groups are to issue a report on their talks on 15 March. The two men said working groups would begin discussing the problems on 12 February.
