Corruption on the increase

    Corruption is on the increase in Ghana, the country’s Serious Fraud Office said in its recently released report for 1999. The acting executive director of the bureau, Brian Sapati, said “grand and petty” corruption and economic crimes were increasing because people would always take advantage of Ghana’s liberalised economic system.
