Nigeria Airways resumed its Lagos-Accra route on Monday after three years of suspension, AFP reported an airline spokesman as saying on Tuesday. The airline has agreed with Ghana Airways that for three flights a week, passengers with a Nigeria Airways ticket can board a Ghana Airways flight and vice-versa. Nigeria Airways suspended the route in 1997 due to bad management, corruption and huge foreign debts. The state carrier is currently under investigation by the government in its bid to eliminate corruption, AFP reported.
