ADB loan for road from Guinea to Mali

    ABIDJAN
    Guinea and Mali are to receive US $31.66 million from the African Development Bank (ADB) to build a permanent road linking economic and administrative centres in the two countries, under a loan agreement signed on Monday. The ADB said the 344-km Kankan-Kouremale-Bamako road would open up northeast Guinea and southwest Mali and give landlocked Mali another access to the sea, in addition to Senegal and Cote d’Ivoire.
