Soft drinks factory opens

The Coca-Cola company this week opened a US $32 million factory in the Angolan central coast Benguela province, which will include 10 retail stores and 22,000 selling points around the war-torn country, according to the official news agency ‘Angop’.

The project, said ‘Angop’, will create 400 jobs while the factory’s production capacity is expected to reach 1,000 cartons of the drink per hour. The US multinational plans to set up two more factories in the country.
