Government denies arresting Bin Laden followers

    The Mauritanian government has denied that it has arrested four men suspected of having links with Islamic militant Osama Bin Laden. Government spokesman Rachid Ould Saleh said earlier reports were incorrect and blamed the Western media for distorting the facts. On Tuesday, AFP had cited a security source as saying that the arrests had been made.
