Students block campus entrance

    ABIDJAN

    Students blocked the entrance to the National University of Benin on Tuesday in protest against a decision by lecturers to withhold end of year examination results, PANA reported.

    The students erected barricades which stopped movement of lecturers’ vehicles to and from the university in Abomey-Calvi, on the outskirts of Cotonou. Security forces used tear gas to break up the demonstration.
