Business leaders and heads of state from the Commonwealth are meeting in Johannesburg to discuss the impact of globalisation on developing economies.
The three-day Forum, which comes in the run-up to the weekend Commonwealth Summit in Durban, will ask industrialised countries to do more to bridge the gap between rich and poor nations.
The forum, which was established at the last summit in Edinburgh two years ago, will also promote contact between government and private business.
