Kuwait considers investing in oil

Kuwait’s state-owned oil company announced on Monday that it had concluded a feasibility study into investing in Namibia’s oil sector, AFP reported. The report said a delegation from Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company was in Namibia last month after President Sam Nujoma had visited Kuwait in August where he met the country’s oil minister and expressed hope that the Gulf state would take an interest in refining Namibian oil. Kuwait currently produces 1.84 barrels per day and its oil company is involved in oil production in Australia, China, Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sudan, Tunisia and Yemen.
