    Emma Aina Nulimba is a Red Cross home-based care volunteer in Namibia. HIV-positive herself, she knows the difficulty of living with the virus in communities marked by poverty, and in which stigma remains powerful. She takes IRIN/PlusNews on her rounds to meet the people she tries to help in informal settlements on the outskirts of the capital, Windhoek.
